Happy Valentine's Day
Posted by Freckles on February 13, 2008, 8:21 pmValentine's Day is the day that human's celebrate love. I am asking you to celebrate too...but celebrate the love you share with your dog. Look into the eyes of your beloved companions, and feel how much each one of them loves you.
Those who are rescued, you will look into their eyes, and see such thankful souls. They love you. They adore you. And yes, they worship you.
No matter what.
Even when you are angry and short with them.
Even when you get up in the morning and your breath smells like something an inspired dog would roll in.
Even when you are wearing your fat pants and baggy t-shirts, and your hair looks like a rat has moved in, redecorated, remodelled and invited all the in-laws. In fact, they love you even more then, because that means you are staying home with them. They love their time with you.
For those of you who do not have such a wonderful loving friend as a dog, I suggest you run quickly to your nearest shelter or rescue, and find your very best friend. You will not regret it.
