the weather

I don't know about the rest of you, but I HATE THIS WEATHER!! It's just too darned cold!! It's been so cold that I've been forced to lay there and stare at my Mom until she takes me out into the yard for some exercise. I don't mind the temperature because I already have a nice coat on, but she has to take all sorts of time to put on pants, and boots, and mitts, and a big coat. She did take me over to the off-leash park for a run one day, and ended up looking like an Eskimo with ice formed all around her hood. I was too polite to laugh, but she did look a little funny. My Dad has been busy for the past week and leaving the house long before I get up, so I guess I can forgive him for not taking me out. But NEXT week, I plan to stare at him big time!!

Cealiegh of Skye ("Kailie")Hey!! I got Dad & Mom up to Little Mountain Park today. Well, the weather was nicer. But watch out. There is a brindle-coloured cross something & Pit Bull that is still a pup, but he plays rough. In fact, his play got almost fighting with me and with another Border Collie, a male named "Java". Watch for the pup. He needs some training in getting along with others.

FrecklesI know what you mean Cealiegh. We hate this weather too, but we force Mom to take us out daily. hehe.

Cealiegh of Skye ("Kailie")HA!! I outstared him!! I managed to get Dad to take me over to the off-leash for some exercise. I had such a good time, and I even "attacked" his boots a couple of times. But I'd never bite them....just worry them a bit. He hates that!! :-)
