The Saga of Poe and Frost
Posted by on March 9, 2008, 4:04 pmIt is a miracle...Poe and Frost are here. After all the trouble and all the fuss, they finally arrived last night.
This is Poe today. He came for a walk with us.
Isn't he dreamy? Mom doesn't have any good photos of Jack Frost yet...but when she does, I will be sure to let you see them. I will tell you their whole story one day soon.
We walked the river today with a friend of Mom's. He has a 9 year old chocolate Border Collie mix.
Frodo and Derby played chase the stick and herd each other...
Muna and I sauntered off and chased squirrels while the others walked along the river. There were just SO MANY squirrels to be chased!
LOOK! Can you SEE the expression on this tree-rat's face??? Mom took this picture...you can SEE he is mocking me!
We chased and chased...but every once in awhile Mom's voice would hit that octave...you KNOW the one... and we knew it was time to come back and check in...make ourselves visible. Mom gets a little testy when we are running into people's backyards chasing squirrels. We just can't help it. They drive us mad!
I never did catch one. Not today. But there is always next time...
