Tails of Devotion: A Look at the Bond Between People and Their Pets
People seek help and they can receive it through animals. As author Emily Pottruck says:
Animal lovers are thrilled to be able to
share their stories. I think so many of us have bought into the notion
that we are "crazy" because we love our animals. "Ask Dog Lady"
brought this to my attention because of something I wrote in my
introduction. I now make a point of saying that caring for animals is
one of the sanest feelings I have ever had. People do want to
contribute to the greater good. As you know, every penny from the
proceeds of Tails of Devotion goes to animal/human welfare nonprofits.
The "experts" did not think this point would matter. It matters a
ton. And we have raised over $100K for the nonprofits.
