Studying the movements of activist groups is something that sociologists love to do. This book takes up the animals rights movement and documents how it started and went crazy in the mid-70s. Although there is still tons of work left to do to give animals, especially companion animals, the respect that Chattypet believes they deserve, we wish that people could learn from the work done to help animals get this far and help people do the same.
