Shahna's Dream

Shelter of Hope
Her dream was to build a beautiful shelter, where they could house harder to place animals, and a retirement home for old and unwanted pets. A safe haven, a port in the storm. Funds For Furry Friends is a rescue group who takes in all animals including the old and infirm. They do not deny animals a chance just because they are old.

Adopt Diamond!

 Diamond is a 3 year old Blue Fawn Shar Pei who was surrendered to a pound in Ohio because she was killing chickens. She is a beautiful dog who is in very good condition, though perhaps a little thin. She is very quiet, easy going, and is house trained. She is medium sized at about 40 pounds and is good on leash and great with other dogs. She would not be good in a home with cats. Due to the fact she is a single breed and very nice natured we will be asking a higher adoption fee for her. We would prefer adopters who are knowledgeable about this breed as their skin does require special attention to keep infection from developing. Diamond is on a vet diet (Hills Science Diet) to help keep her skin in good shape, although at present she has no signs of any skin problems.
