Profile

I am about 30 pounds, black with a white spot on my chest and long ears and tail that curls over my back.  I am smart (the shelter people named me "Einstein", but my master (or "buddy") calls me "Ike" - after Issac Newton -  who he claims was smarter than Einstein.  I am pretty "laid back" and don't get upset easily except when I hear a strange noise or when I see bicycles/motorcycles/other animals while riding in the car (unlike many dogs, I don't care to ride with my head out of the window).

When I first saw my master in the shelter 7 years ago, I knew we were meant for each other.  I am his "primary care giver" and try to take good care of him.  I take him for walks as often as possible, and let him know in no uncertain terms when it is time to go (actually I can read his mind, and don't let him rest a second when I know he is thinking of going for a walk).  I am loving, loyal, turstworthy and a constant companion (he sometimes says that he should have named me "Velcro").
