 Boy, I just LOVE this guy! Tristan is an 11 year old boy who is healthy in every way. Tristan has Feline Diabetes, which can be managed with dietary controls, home blood glucose testing, twice daily insulin shots and your vet's partnership in his care. With proper management, diabetic kitties can continue to live normal lives. Since Diabetes is a disease that can be effectively managed providing a good quality of life, his veterinarian disagreed with this decision. Smitten with his affectionate, friendly nature and concerned for his plight, one of the vet techs purchased a plane ticket with her own funds and personally flew Tristan to safe sanctuary at the Catnip Cottage. Tristan is a confident, easy-going and affectionate, male cat who is quite at home in the Catnip Cottage. He is just chock-full of purr-sonality. Tristan is comfortable with other cats and with dogs. He will even stand his ground against the horrible, huge vacuum cleaner! This cooperative blue-gray boy is so good and patient about his ear pricks for his blood glucose testing, and about his daily insulin shots. He doesn't even seem to notice them, much less mind. Tristan is an extra sweet boy who deserves a happy ending. He still has so much love to give and to receive. Tristan is the most delightful companion.
