My name is Mickey! I am a 4 year old Border Collie/Sheltie and I was adopted by my family in 2004 from Funds For Furry Friends! I love going for walks, yogurt, and peeing. I am an easy going fella, and there isn't much I don't like!

Yep... it most certainly is! Everything was messy today and I got very dirty when I went for my walk with Molly! We got to play agility too! I LOVE agility so much. I love flying through the air over the jumps! Mom says I am the ball of furry!
The tunnel is lots of fun too... I get the zoomies when I go through it!
Molly played too.
Jersey doesn't play much yet... she's a scaredy cat and won't go through the tunnel... and she goes UNDER the jump! That pup has got a LOT to learn. Mom promised that Molly and me get to start agility classes soon. I can't wait! Today we had lots of fun and I am pooped. Time to go make my bed... Mom always makes the bed smooth and spreads out the blanket... I don't it that way. I like it all bundled up under ME!

Don't get me wrong. I am not like Freckles the (most of the time) puppy hater. Just sometimes I can't stand them. They can be so rude.
Like today Molly and me were napping on the couch. And you know what Jersey did? LOOK.
She sat right on top of Molly! I think Molly was in a deep sleep because she didn't even bat an eye. But if Jersey tried something like that with me, it would be the last time she did ANYTHING!

WOO-WOO-WOO! It was my birthday on October the third. I am now four years old! I have also been a member of the Hansen family for THREE WHOLE years! I got extra cookies and supper for my birthday. Jess promised she will throw a party (better than Molly's!) for me soon.

Today was Molly's birthday and Jess decided to throw her a party. Right... like she deserves one! I expect a party for MY birthday to be thrown on October 4th.. and there'd better be more guests than Molly's friends Luckey and Zoey! Jess took photos, but it was too dark by the time Zoey came over to get a photo of her.
Luckey is kinda silly looking, but he is a good dog.
I did enjoy the cookies that were bought for the party. They were carrot, ginger, and chocolate cookies. Jess said they were fake, but I didn't complain! I like food. We got to play agility too! Zoey and Luckey have never done it before but they did ok. I showed off to everyone. I am the best and fastest!
Anyway, time to enjoy a chewie and go to sleep. Goodnight!

It's been a while, once again!
Yesterday was a sad day. Mom, Molly and I found out Cooper, the Lab mix that lived behind us, died. He was hit by a car and killed. Mom was very shocked.. she thought our neighbour was just confused with another dog because Cooper could never die. He was only a young dog like me, full of life!
I feel very bad for Molly. She and Cooper were good buddies. Molly first met him when she was a tiny puppy... he was like a giant to her. They played a lot.. they loved to wrestle. Whenever we passed by Cooper and his Mom on his walks, or walked by his house, they HAD to play.
I didn't much appreciate it when he tried to play with me, though.. I prefer to NOT associate myself with all that rumble tumble stuff.
I still miss him very much, though. He was a very good dog, and he loved everyone and everything. So, God, please take good care of Cooper!

Mom hasn't let me use the computer for a while. She says I'm a little on the chunky side, (so what?? I like FOOD) and need to lose some weight. That just means we get to spend more time together, though!
Today she took Molly and me to a biiig park that's just a few streets away. No one uses it during the winter so Mom calls it Mickey's park. That's me! It has a whole lot of good scents that I like to follow around and sniff.
Mom was looking after a pretty puppy a week ago or so for her friend. She was a bratty girl, but I still liked her, even though I pretended I couldn't stand her! She really put Molly in her place and Molly didn't bug me at all for two weeks! I enjoyed that.
I wonder when the next distraction for Molly will be coming!
