Profile

Hi - I'm Bucky.  I was found wandering along a busy highway in Virginia in March, 1997.  A guy picked me up and took me to his girlfriend who loved pets.  The guy thought that doing this would help him get back together with his girlfriend.  The girlfriend was thankful that he rescued me and she posted ads in the newspaper and at grocery stores and vet offices about me.  No one claimed me.  She couldn't keep me, so I think she finally posted me to the i-barc listserv.

I-barc stands for The Internet Beagle Aficionado Recreation Club

Anyway, I found a home and could not be happier.  I don't know if the guy and the girl ever got back together again, but at least I know I found a happy outcome from the experience.

Here is a fun site that I found that tells people all about beagles.

Cowentics!
OK - for all you humans with minicows out there - you can power your house with them using the Cowentic Turbine. How's that for crazy! And, not to mention, dogs can contribute as well to this alternative energy / global warming reduction technology! And, then, think of what all of those big bunnies could do! (I hope you know this is all fiction.)

What? Mini-cows as pets? Bunnies the size of a todler?
Get a load of this: people have bred small cows for pets! See: "Moo-ve over, Fido: Minicows popular pets.  I can't belive it!  These cows are like half the size of regular cows!  Like urban 4-H is now a reality, huh?!  Just think - great training for hmmm, let's see....

The world is a crazy place - my Australian friends here can get easier work with smaller cows to herd and us beagles, here, well - check this out - we may have rabbits to chase that are MY SIZE!  Look out for Herman!
