Hey - I'm Chudleigh!  I was lost and picked up by an animal control officer.  Based on the way I act, my guardians think I was a puppymill momma.  When I was found, I had just had pups and I carried a little stuffed toy around at the  shelter everyday in my mouth.  I was also depressed and lethargic.  I had cherry eye and so they called me Cherry at the shelter.  When I was rescued, they named me Chudleigh because one of my guardians couldn't decide if I was cute and cuddly or chunky and ugly.  Actually, the name Chudleigh came from a holiday eCard.  I don't mind my name.  I snuggle at night and LOVE sleeping with people!!  Oh my gosh, I LOVE sleeping REALLY close to them.  I get hot though from being so close to others in the night, which sometimes makes things a bit uncomfortable in the summertime.

Nicknames:  Cherry-Chud, Chudleigh-Cheese-Muffin, Chud-a-Muff or or "Where's the chud?"

Chudleigh From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Chudleigh is a small town in Devon located between the town of Newton Abbot and Exeter.

It is very close to the edge of Dartmoor and bypassed by the A38. It began life as a small wool market town. In 1807 the town was all but destroyed by fire. Only the church and seven houses were left; amazingly there were no fatalities. Local Amenities include, Outdoor Swimming Pool, Cricket field and football pitches. There is a Primary School located in the centre. There is an annual carnival each summer which draws a huge crowd from the surrounding area. Chudleigh has expanded lots in recent years as commuter houses have been bolted on around the edges, but it still retains a fairly traditional town centre. Nearby the Rock is a natural beauty spot and attracts climbers who scale its cliffs.

Controversial?
What do you think of this article about the SPCA visiting homeless pet owners?
