Hey everyone! My name is Roxie I am a 11 week old Border Collie. I was born on May 13, 2007 or Mother's Day! I bet my mom was so happy when my siblings and I came along on this day. I was rescued by the Osterhout family, their 13 year old daughter wanted a Border Collie for awhile and soon her wish came true when they found me at their local shelter. I was left in a plastic storage box and thrown into the river to drown, but I was soon found by a kind fisherman and his son they took me to the local shelter since they couldn't take care of me. A few weeks later I was ready for adoption, I was adopted on July 5, 2007.

VACATION!!!

After a few days of getting used to their new home they move me again! This time we were stuck in a cabin for a week at Chenango Valley State Park. (Wherever that is!) They called this place a "vacation" it was quite pretty and I loved all the walks they took me on, unfortuantly Nikki got extremly bad hips for her age so she couldn't join me on the longer ones. Here are a few of me on vacation.

And two pretty good shots of Nikki (I actually think I am MUCH cuter!)

One night while we were at the cabin I heard screeching all night long, The next morning we saw this guy! This is a barred owl but the thing in they don't screech so they got framed by a screech owl my family is guessing.

My family also took a few pictures of one of the lakes and the bog.

Well, That's basically sums up my vacation. I had a really fun time! My family says that we will come next year by then I will be over a year old!

A bit about me!

My family adopted me on July 5, 2007. These were the two pictures that they fell in love with. What do you think, I'm cute right?

After a few days of getting used to the cats (Rita Lynn and Macy Gray) and their other Golden Retriever/Chow Chow Mix (Nikki) they took me on a very fun walk at Otsinango Park! There were a TON of dogs and people and I had a blast, Here are some pictures of me at the park.

When the walk was finished they took even MORE picture of me outside, when does a puppy ever get a break?

When I finally get a break from all these pictures they take ANOTHER one of me sleeping, and uhh..I can explain about the beer.

I get up and there they are camera in hand and treats in the other I finally say "That is enough with the camera can you please let me be!! If you don't then I will break your wonderful camera!!"

After a long day they let me be and left the camera to charge.
